Prior to forming Sanity Check, LLC in 2018, I was employed by four small businesses, three of which successfully graduated from the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 8(a) program.  I have served in multiple capacities over the years including:

• Executive Advisor and Vice President of Business Development for a firm that provided multimedia, audiovisual, television and video production services; video teleconference (VTC) systems product sales, integration and support; information technology services; conference and event management support; captioning, transcription, and other voice-to-text services; and administrative support for a variety of federal civilian and U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) agencies;  

• Chief Administrative Officer, Operations Manager, Director of Business Development, and Director of Contracts for a global solutions and services provider in the Information Solutions, Training Solutions, and Planning & Operations domains, predominantly within DoD, Intelligence Community, and federal civilian agencies; 

• Contract Administrator for a management consulting firm that serviced federal health, science, energy and education-oriented organizations;

• Direct customer support at two Army installations in Virginia providing and overseeing multimedia, audiovisual, graphic design, photography, television and video production, and related support services for training, marketing, advertising, and recruitment purposes.

 

I have a complete understanding of the day-to-day personnel, systems, contracting, financial, and information challenges that organizations face.  I have been helping organizations grow, perform, and mature both as an employee and as an independent consultant.  As a result of these progressive and wide-ranging experiences, I concluded that both buyer and seller organizations, regardless of size and sophistication, can use and appreciate a third-party “Sanity Check” to achieve greater clarity and improved performance in federal contracting.
